Golf Course Exhibition

RSGC was founded on 2nd August 1893. The original clubhouse was located in Concord, on the “Yaralla” estate, owned by Dame Eadith Walker. In 1899, the Club moved to Rose Bay, so that it could concentrate on the development of its links at Bondi. This exhibition, which was split into two parts, looks at the development of the golf course from the Club’s inception through to today.

Helen Hawkeswood Exhibition

Helen Hawkeswood joined the Royal Sydney Golf Club in 1952, and was one of only two life members of the Club, having been awarded the honour in 1988. This honour followed her tireless service to both Royal Sydney and Australian golf in general. This exhibition looks at the life and achievements of Helen Hawkeswood.
