The principal sport played at Royal Sydney is golf, played by over 2,000 members. The Club has two golf courses - the world famous Championship Course that presents a challenge to the professional and amateur alike, and the 9-hole Centenary Course, used by beginners and those who find the Championship Course too demanding. The long and short practice facilities are outstanding and the practice putting course has few equals in world golf.

The twenty tennis courts, including thirteen lawn courts, are of championship standard, while the croquet lawns and the bowling greens are excellent in every way. Well stocked tennis and golf shops offer every assistance to the avid player.
