Tim Storrier (1949 – ) is an Australian artist who was still only nineteen years of age when he won the Sir John Sulman Prize – the youngest winner
in the history of the prize. This prestigious award provided the young painter with a flying start to a career that, over the subsequent thirty-five years,
has seen him become one of the nation’s most respected and sought-after artists. Storrier is a contemporary Australian artist whose paintings are composed and executed in his own distinctive style. His works are held in many collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the Tate Gallery in London amongst others.
