Impenetrable inky black core with a dark purple black hue.

Nose
Pronounced aromatics of aniseed, black cherries and dark plum with a smoky dried meat overlay and blackpepper end notes.

Palate
Full bodied the palate boasts terrific richness along with a delicious savoury profile of black cherries and liquorice overlaid by dried meats, smoky vanillin oak and pepper. Very fine grained, slightly dryish tannins provide excellent structure. Long finish of black cherries, liquorice, smoked dried meats and pepper.
