David Tregoning

Part of General Committee since 2016

David joined the Building Sub-Committee in 2015 as Chair, and in 2016 joined the General Committee.

David is an Architect with over 45 years in private practice, the majority of which has been spent in strategy and management. David was instrumental in leading the Australian firm, Woods Bagot, into becoming an international design leader, and the first to have a global footprint.
Since retirement from Woods Bagot, David has continued to provide consultancy services to the industry through his company, Creative Futures.

David joined Royal Sydney in 1978 and has enjoyed playing tennis and golf, with the former now being seriously curtailed by a shoulder injury and the latter by talent. Age 50+ is too old to get a golf handicap!

David and his wife Jane have four children and six grandchildren and between them, travel and the Golf Club, precious little time for much else.
