Summary: 18 Hole Stroke held in conjunction with second Medal Round of the year. Best eight scores qualify for seeded handicap match play. The leading eight nett scores qualify for match play. Play by dates are set for each round and matches are arranged by Members.

History: Trophy presented by Mrs Eileen Nigel Smith in 1927. The Cup is named after Eileen Nigel Smith’s former residence in Ocean Avenue, Double Bay. There is conflicting information about this trophy being donated by Mrs J.S. Burgess however the correspondence shows it was Mrs Nigel Smith. The Heritage Sub-Committee would like to receive information about this, or about Mrs Burgess, from Members.
