Summary: Triples Match Play event, held between April – October. Play by dates are set for each round and matches are arranged by Members. 21 ends. Dead ends do not count. Handicaps do not apply.

History: The Triples Championship was first played in 1963.The actual trophy was given by the Club in 1984 in memory of J.L. Taylor, a popular member of long standing who played both golf and bowls up to this death in 1983. He won the Bowls Singles Championship 14 times, the Pairs 5 times and the Triples 6 times. One of his bowls forms part of the trophy which was designed and made by fellow bowlers R.H. Chapman and L.F. White.

Traditions & Standards: Lunch held in the Bay Window following play. Trophy presented after play, and prize awarded at President & Captain’s Dinner.
