Summary: 18 Hole Stroke usually held the week after the Mixed Foursomes. Leading eight scratch scores qualify for seeded match play.

History: The trophy honours the services of Sir Norman Gregg, M.C. Presented by the Club in 1951, this event was renamed the Sir Norman Gregg Trophy in 1968. A leading Sydney ophthalmic surgeon, Sir Norman was a member of the Committee from 1941 to 1944, Captain from 1944 to 1947 and President from 1952 to 1956. He was knighted for his discovery in 1941 of the correlation between mothers’ rubella and children’s congenital defects. This Championship has been won five times by P.M Reid and J Prendergast and by T.L Crow and D.H Kent.

Traditions & Standards: Trophy presented after Final is played. Prize awarded at President & Captain’s Dinner. Men’s Captain or member of Men’s Golf Sub-Committee to referee final.
Dress: Golf attire for presentation after Finals.
