2025 Membership Engagement Survey
I look forward to presenting the findings of our 2025 Member Survey on Wednesday 2nd July. I have noted previously, I am continually impressed by the appreciation so many members express for being part of Royal Sydney. The abundance of positive feedback I get is reflective of this, it is genuine and of course deserved for our hard working team.

Feedback, constructive included, is one the most valuable tools available to us. It enables the Club to remain aligned with members’ needs and strengthens our commitment to continuous improvement. I am grateful to the nearly 1800 members who contributed to this important process.

With the intention of building a culture of feedback, it was essential to create a baseline measure of Member satisfaction. Our 2025 Member Survey has provided us with a wealth of perspectives as well as clear direction. Our Senior Management team have been working to interpret the responses and consider initiatives that will deliver on your expectations, and build on the strong foundations we enjoy.

The survey aimed to,
•  Understand levels of member satisfaction and drivers of satisfaction
•  Understand perceptions of the Club values and how they are exemplified through the Club experience
•  Understand member attitudes to the Club offering including sport, dining, fitness, clubhouse, facilities, service experience etc
•  Deliver a clear picture of how members are using the Club – frequency and areas of use
•  Gauge perception of communications (newsletters, channels etc) and member interaction with the Club (app, website etc)

The analysis has also provided valuable insight into how expectations and behaviours differ across member life stages, particularly among younger members and families. These findings will directly inform strategic planning and support the General Committee, management and Sub-Committees to determine effectiveness of current initiatives and shape future priorities.
