The Nineteenth 2025
The Nineteenth was held on Saturday 14th June.
Charles Scarvell Cape, who presented the cup in 1924, was one of the early members of the Club, a prominent solicitor in Sydney, and an enthusiastic golfer. Known as a convivial and companionable Club member, it was his practice to entertain as many members as possible after his game.
With the expression “The 19th Hole” having recently come into use, Cape donated a piece from his fine collection of old silver as a cup to bear this name.
Big congratulations to Ron Ross, who, playing in the last group, took the win with an impressive score of +3 in the par competition.
