Racquet Sports – Upcoming for 2026

Upcoming for 2026
By Mattia Stoissa, Head of Racquets

As we head into 2026, I’m excited to share a number of new programs and events designed to give members more opportunities to play, connect, and enjoy racquet sports at the Club. Whether you’re returning to the court, trying something new, or looking for a more social way to stay active, there is something for everyone.

Social Tennis – Sunday Mornings
We are introducing a new Sunday Morning Social Tennis session, running from 10.00am to 11.30am and starting on Sunday 1st February. This session is all about relaxed, enjoyable match play in a friendly environment. You don’t need to organize a partner, as games will be arranged on the day by the Racquets team. Bookings can be made online or via the Service Desk.

Pickleball Social – Monday Evenings
Our popular pickleball offering continues to grow, and from Monday 2nd February we will be running a weekly Pickleball Social on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. This session is open to players of all levels, with no partner required. It’s a great way to learn the game, meet other members, and enjoy a social atmosphere. Bookings can be made online or via the Service Desk.

Mums & Bubs Tennis Clinic – Friday Mornings
We’re pleased to launch a Mums & Bubs tennis clinic on Friday mornings at 10.00am, starting Friday 30th January. Led by Tennis Professional Monique Krutak, this clinic is designed to provide a relaxed on-court session for mums looking to return to tennis, while bringing their little ones along.

King of the Mountain – Saturday Mornings
King of the Mountain is our weekly men’s competition, open to all male members, with players of any level welcome. The competition runs every Saturday morning from 10.00am and is designed to provide a fun, competitive match-play environment without the need to organize your own game or book courts. For more information or to register your interest, please contact the Northern Area Sports Coordinator, Lewis, or the Head of Racquets, Mattia.

Tennis and Pickleball Demo Day
We will also be hosting a Tennis and Pickleball Demo Day on Saturday 7th February at 2.00pm. This event gives members the opportunity to try the latest tennis racquets and pickleball paddles from leading brands in a relaxed, on-court setting. It’s a great chance to test equipment, ask questions, and discover what best suits your game before making a purchase.
