Summary: A friendly match between the male and female bowlers, usually played on a Saturday in March. Played in pairs using seven rinks; Bowls Sub-Committee selects the pairings. 16 ends. Dead ends do not count. Handicaps do not apply.
History: In the Club’s Centenary Year one of the initiatives of the Men Bowlers was to issue a challenge to the Women Bowlers. The challenge was accepted and the first ‘Men v Women’ match was played on 21st February 1993. It is the sincere wish of all Bowlers that this match will continue as an annual event.
Traditions & Standards: Trophy presented after play.
