Summary: Preliminary rounds – 18 Hole Match Play held on Large Putting Green. Final round – 36 hole Match Play held at 6pm on the Small Putting Green, prior to the President & Captain’s Dinner. Random draw. Play by dates are set for each round and matches are arranged by Members.
History: First played in 1994. The Men’s Putting Championship, formerly known as the Life Members’ Trophy, was re-named for Keith Harris, Captain 1973-76, and President 1976-81, Life Member from 1983. After his death in 1998. Mr Harris’ family donated a silver tray to be used as the perpetual trophy, to be known as the Keith C. F. Harris Trophy.
Traditions & Standards: Men’s Captain referees the Final.Trophy is presented after the Final. Prize awarded at President & Captain’s Dinner.
