Summary: Open 18 Hole Scratch Stroke event which encourages top amateurs from other courses to participate. Jean Derrin (Golf NSW) approved event since 1998 and Senior Order of Merit (Golf NSW) approved event since 2009. Maximum GA Handicap 15.5 on the day of play. Competitors on a GA Handicap higher than 15.5 may still play but must play off a Daily Handicap of 20. Held in conjunction with ‘Rose Bay Bowl’ for the Best Scratch Score by a Royal Sydney player and ‘Rose Bay Vase’ for the Best Nett Score by a Royal Sydney player.

History: Trophy given by the Club in 1907. This was the premier open stroke event for women’s golf at the Club and a popular Jean Derrin event. Originally held over two days (Monday and Tuesday). Changed to a one day event (Monday) in 2011 due to dwindling entries and in 2016 it was rescheduled to be held on a Thursday.

Traditions & Standards: Trophy presented by Women’s Captain after play, and recognised at the Women’s Annual Dinner if won by a member.
Dress: Golf attire for lunch after play.
